With Team Orion Asia Company Ltd located in Asia, we have strongly strengthened our position in this huge and fast growing market. Once again Team Orion is able to consistently follow its global strategy – even during this economically difficult time.
With the background of the successful strategies of our companies in Europe, Japan and the USA, Team Orion Asia will be able to perfectly serve the demands of the Asian market. The best knowledge of the respective local needs and mentality are essential to thrive in Asia. With Porapong “Jarb” Ratanarat we not only found a huge RC car enthusiast but also a very talented man with great marketing and language skills. He will lead the new company to build a flourishing business in his home markets.
Who is Porapong “Jarb” Ratanarat? Jarb was born in Thailand in 1982. After his high school time in New Zealand, he got his engineering degree from Durham University, England which is the first engineering department in England. RC cars were a family hobby since ever, and Jarb got his first car at 8 years old. Later a great friendship with former Team Orion driver Surikarn started – and soon, Jarb met Oscar Jansen. Friendship, hobby and business were combined harmonically. Now the son of the boss of a big oil blending company in Thailand takes the opportunity to start a fantastic new project: the foundation of Team Orion Asia Company Ltd and the development of a new, promising business is on the way.
Development of new products. A lot of testing of Team Orion products has been done in Thailand. The consistently hot climate is very demanding for all RC car components – perfect to stress the material to its limits. Team Orion ensures that the final product will deliver best performance even under the toughest conditions.
With Team Orion Asia Company Ltd we will even be closer to the Asian market. In very close collaboration with Electric R&D manager Oscar Jansen and Nitro R&D manager Adrien Bertin, Jarb will help developing products for the local needs in the future.
Team Orion Asia warehouse. Team Orion Asia Company Ltd will be in charge of a warehouse to stock the complete Team Orion product range. This allows us to reduce delivery time and give best support to our customers, while maintaining good pricing. Thanks to Team Orion Asia special facility we are able to reduce cost and achieve maximum performance for the Asian market!
Distributing area. Team Orion Asia Company Ltd will be responsible for the whole Asian area outside Japan. Also the company will serve the Middle East, New Zealand and Australia. Please contact us for distribution inquiries.
Stronger than ever. Team Orion has a very powerful global sales network. With the addition of Team Orion Asia we are reinforcing this position. The extension of our worldwide racing team with another World Champion announced last week is one more step of this strategy. We will soon confirm the name of this driver.
