Novarossi Challenge In Canada

After hosting the successful 2011 RC Pro Canadian Nationals, we were approached to host the 2012 Novarossi Challenge and we are very excited about it! The event will be held August 3 to 5 at CRE Raceway in Winnipeg.

The Off Road facility is located at 738 Symington Road in Winnipeg and is part of the Grand Prix Amusements facility. About the site: onsite canteen serving burgers, dogs, snacks and refreshments. There is also an on site hobby shop, electricity, water and other amenities.

For those interested, there is plenty to do when guys are not on the track. Grand Prix has 3 go kart tracks, bumper boats, as well as midway style amusements. Many racers have stayed at the campground in the past and have nothing but good things to say about it, very clean and they even have an outdoor pool. Super 8 Motel is 2 minutes in the opposite direction from the track for those of us who do not wish to rough it out at the campground. Two large shopping malls located 10 minutes away from the track.

The Novarossi Challenge is an open Trophy event, meaning you do not need to qualify for the event. The event will be limited to 350 entries as this will allow for a smooth weekend of racing without running into the late hours of the day.
