Viper @ The Super Nats

It was a solid weekend for Viper RC Solutions and its drivers at the 2012 SC Nationals in Enfield. the entire Viper product line was used by team drivers and customers throughout the weekend.

In 2wd Stock SC Royce Berrio qualified 3rd with his VTX10 VST 17.5 motor combination, while Team Manager Nick Malato used the new Black Edition VTX10 VST 17.5 to qualify 11th and win the rainy B main. Royce got out to an early and had the lead until track conditions started to fade and a mistake moved him back to 2nd for the finish. Nick battled up and down the field to 10th overall.

In 2wd Modified Paul Sinclair and Mike Aliberti were flying on the big track! Wrong tire chooses would move them back to 3rd and 5th after the last round of qualifying. When the rain fell harder and harder, the mains on the big track were canceled and results were done via qualifying order.

In 4wd Modified while others went for high end expensive electronics, Mark Smyka used his economy based Copperhead R45 combination to qualify 5th overall. Zack Berry used an R45 motor to qualify 6th Joe Mason used a Copperhead R45 system to qualify 10th Mike Aliberti made his 4wd SC debut qualifying 11th using his Copperhead R51 system. Again, unfortunately the rains washed away the mains.
