Ben Cosgrove & Hot Bodies @ Midland Dirt Masters

Team HB arrived early on Saturday morning for the re scheduled MDM at the fantastic Coventry club. The track layout was different from the National which meant we missed out the top right hand loop section which was pretty blown out during the finals at the National. The track was very dry.

Ben Cosgrove was running the Electric buggy class whereas Graham Alsop and John Holmes were running the Nitro buggy class. We decided to split our tire strategies on the Saturday so we could get some good data for Sunday for the finals. We all preferred slightly different combinations but we all ended up using the red compound.

Electric buggy finals went very well for Ben having a controlled race in both legs to take the double victory and maximum honours. The Nitro final was a race of attrition with John and Tony retiring due to technical issues leaving Graham and Craig to have an epic battle for the complete race! It was won by Craig with Graham under his rear wing as they crossed the line for the very last time.
