RB ADS Shock System!

Developed in close collaboration with Italian company Fioroni since 2 years ago, RB is proud to release a new innovated shock system which makes your shock absorber ultra progressive and with an automatic harder damping which has been the goal of everybody since decades, making personal pistons with balls, valves, conical holes, conical pistons, etc but never has been made as the tested systems did not perfectly worked and the construction into a small dimension oil shock was hard to make too. There is now the RB patent ADS Automatic Damping System!

The special V design sleeve combined to a CNC piston without holes, allows the oil goes up and down with an ultra progressive oil flow.
- Compression: The piston is at the bottom position, at the beginning, the V shape is big and the damping is soft, when the piston goes up into the shock body, the V shape becomes smaller and the damping becomes harder so. The damping is ideal during the piston travel.
- Extension: The piston is at the upper position, small V size area and the damping is hard, when the piston goes down, the V shape becomes larger and the oil flow is increased which let the piston went back quicker in its bottom position which let the wheels go back fastest in contact with the ground.
Last, the actual big bore shock absorbers are better for damping but become less reactive because of the big diameter big pistons with big oil flow. With ADS the sleeve reduces the inside diameter and it makes the piston travel becomes more reactive too. The Delrin piston is adjusted by hand with the hard coated 7075 T6 sleeve for a low friction to ensure a free movement. The 6 bottom escape shapes let the oil move when the piston is at the bottom position.

The drivers encounter difficulties to find the right way with regular shock absorbers and the balance between the compression and extension. Conical holes or round holes. How many holes . Which holes diameters. Flat pistons or conical pistons. And up or down position. Which oil damping and which rebound.
You can mix all the mentioned different choices and you have got too many different ways. ADS makes your life easiest, no piston holes, but a real progressive damping which regular piston cannot make it.
